US ATHLETIC TRIALS

CLICK HERE to view some photos from Summer 2008 trials in Florida and Georgia

DAY 1

  • Upon arrival at the airport, we will personally pick you up and drive you to campus. You will be provided with several ways to contact us in case you are delayed.
  • Once on campus, you will be assigned to a dorm room in a modern student dormitory (with air conditioning). When you have settled in, there will be an orientation meeting designed to help acclimate you to the campus environment. Security is provided 24 hours a day.
  • A training session designed to get the legs going will be the first exposure the coaches have with the players. This session will help the players begin to acclimate to the weather, time change and the U.S. coaches.
  • Student/athlete will have their first meal (buffet style—all you can eat) on campus.
  • Student/athlete will be provided quality and safe transportation to local shopping areas.

DAY 2

  • The players will train twice a day during day 2 and 3. These sessions are designed to prepare you for the tournament. Each session will last about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The U.S. coaches are very careful not to wear you down so that you can perform your best during the tournament. Remember our U.S. coaching staff are full-time University coaches and will provide you with top level and appropriate training.
  • On the night of Day 3, you will be transported to the city for a cultural event.

DAY 3 and 4 (1st Tournament)

  • The tournament begins. You will play 3 games during these two days. At least 25 U.S. University coaches will watch you play. All facilities are first class. Our site was selected because of the quality of the fields and complimenting facilities.
  • The student/athlete and the coaches will meet at the end of the 1st Tournament during a reception.

DAY 5

  • This is a day of physical rest. No Training. You will attend a professional baseball game and change sites to our second campus location.

DAY 6

  • Training is focused on preparing for the 2nd Tournament.
  • A second trip to the city is planned around training sessions.

DAY 7 and 8 (2nd Tournament)

  • The 2nd tournament begins. At least 25 U.S. Universities coaches will be watching you play.
  • The 2nd reception will be held on campus to introduce the players and the coaches.

DAY 9

  • Check out. Everyone will be taken to the airport.
  • As you arrive home, you will receive an e-mail detailing your scholarship offers. This e-mail will detail your financial offers, university beginning dates, etc.
